If you have been in the Internet marketing field for any amount of time, the name John Reese will have made its way into your mail box. John is one of the earliest Internet Marketing Guru’s (geez the guy has been doing this since 1990!) and if you haven’t heard of him from that angle, then here’s an angle that you won’t easily forget:

Although I am in Tyrone’s class (and enjoying it…more on it later) I will be considering John’s course also. I want to learn from all the outsourcing Guru’s so that I can provide the best education to my own readers. This is a topic I am very, very passionate about and I am totally hooked on it as my niche. Today I was introduced to a new FREE product by MaxBlogPress called the MaxBlogPress OptIn Form. What I really want to know is:  where was this product 7-8 months ago when I was trying to create an opt-in box for my blog? It really was a source of aggravation at the time.

That’s not the case anymore with this new WordPress Plug In.  This plug-in has simplified the whole process to the point where you can do it all from their panel once the program is uploaded to your server.

Here’s some of the things you can do:

• You can style your opt-in form anyway you want
• You can place your form almost anywhere on your blog
• You can easily switch auto-responders/mailing list providers without starting from scratch!
• Easily insert tracking code to track the effectiveness of your optin form

Great text editor too:

• Change font, font size, color, alignment of the headline text.
• Change font, font size, color, alignment of the body text.
• Insert/edit HTML code to both your form’s headline and body.
• Customize its background color, border color and thickness.
• Add a footer below the “Subscribe” button.
• Customize the “Subscribe” button.
• Brand your form by inserting your personal logo or other images.

Someone left me a comment and asked if this plug-in works with aWeber. The answer is YES! In step 2 of the process, you go get your code from aWeber and put it in the code box and then hit the “detect button”….and you’re set to go!

But, rather than try and list everything you can do with this program, you need to go to MaxBlogPress and check it out for yourself. There is a video you can watch…don’t we just love to watch those easy to understand videos!

I created this form on the bottom of this post this morning and I was having fun changing the box to blue with white lettering and then back to the present colors. I could also have used my header in the background…I tried this, but my header was not suitable they way it was written. It’s a great option though! Additionally, when I tried to place one on my side bar the width would not narrow down enough to fit and the border was over limit a bit. I am sure there is a simple way to fix this too…I just need to spend more time playing with it.

Bottom line is this: there is no reason you should not have a great opt-in box on your WordPress blog with this easy to use plug-in. Way easier than I had it months ago! Remember, this plug-in is FREE!

But first we must understand one very basic principle in life…that principle is balance.  Everything in life needs balance.  The old adage “you can’t have one without the other” sums it up quite well.  You can’t have black without white, up without down, in without out….one simply doesn’t exist without the other.  They are the two apposing forces that create life.  Without cold, hot simply has no meaning….nothing to gauge it against.

To achieve success in life…no matter what endeavor we are trying to achieve,…we must apply this principle of balance.  We must copy the success of nature.You yourself are a being of balance.  Even your brain has two physical sides to it.  One for the intellect and one for the creative/emotional side.  Intellect without emotion is simply flat…flat words, flat pictures etc…no depth.  Emotions without intellect is equally as dangerous as emotions can steal away our peace if we don’t have intellect to balance it off.

By creating great, unique, appealing content within your site, you address the mind of your subscriber…you address their intellect…which is a must if you want to retain your members.  But, although great content may be what initially drew them in, there is another equally important element to creating a successful membership site.  That element is heart.  Without this element, your site will soon become ‘cold’ to your members and they will leave.

You as a human are a three fold being.  You are a balance of mind and heart…and, these together create your soul.  The soul is simply the totality of all that you are.  Your intellect and emotions.  Remember, you can’t have one without the other.

Apply this principle to all your endeavors in life…including your membership site.  By educating your subscribers with your unique content, you are addressing their mind, by allowing your passion to show through, you have captured their heart.

These two elements have created balance within your site…the only path to success.

This is how you need to approach your membership site.  Why?  Because you are dealing with human nature, not robots.  A robot would only require the intellectual side of your site, but we as humans are consciously or subconsciously always looking for balance.  You must tap into their minds and their hearts.

Giving your membership site ‘soul’ is simple….give them what they are seeking…consciously or unconsciously…give them balance.

Give them your mind and your heart.

Next we’re going to discuss a few modules within your site that are a must in creating this balance.

This is it!  Finally, after a few weeks of changes and trials to see what works and to find the perfect fit for  me….last night after I got home from work I sat with my son…deliberating about the design of my new blog.  I had a vision…it just appeared…as visions often do….so I immediately imparted the information to my son who created this.  It’s a perfect fit!  I love it.  The most amazing thing is, my last day on the job was yesterday….(I had been laid off after 11 years)…so I experienced ‘the door closing’…only to wake up this morning to ‘the door opening.’  There it was…my new blog!  I knew it the minute I saw it.  I sit in awe at a Universe so wise and grand!  Couldn’t have timed things better myself!

To make things even better I woke to a beautiful, inspiring video that someone had so lovingly placed in their mail to me.  I just had to share my Joy with everyone….and with that Joy I would like to share this enlightening, inspiring video.

This truly is the first day of my ‘new life’…

Nothing is permanent yet…so please be patient and check back often this week as we work the final details out.  I may go back to the original theme, just change the colors and add a new header and footer….it’s all up in the air yet!  I really like this new theme….the page flows nicely, and it’s not near as boxy feeling.  Unfortunately, it’s not the ideal theme for Search Engine Optimization.  I need a third column and with this theme you can only add that third column on the left hand side…I want two columns together on the right side.   

It’s kind of invigorating to get a new look though.  When we first ordered our header and footer, I really had no idea where I was going with it.  Since then,  I have a much better idea of how I want to present myself.  And, because of my recent job elimination, I’ll have much more time to devote to developing the content.

While we are working on it, my sign-up box will be unavailable.  It won’t be long before it will be back up and running though, so if you’ve landed here and desire to sign up, please check back in a couple of days.

Once again…thanks for your patience as we see ourselves through this process, work out the details and create a new look.  I hope you like the new design elements.

No wonder I was feeling drained.  I was ignoring some of the most important elements that have helped me get here.  Meditation…time to connect with the internal being…to connect with source, to revive and rejuvenate my spirit…the engine that runs me.  Sometimes we get so wrapped up in outside demands, we forget to address our internal needs.  But, if we are to succeed…and feel rewarded in the process…these things must come first.

Taking responsibility for our actions also keeps us on the right path.  Life is always going to throw issues at us.  It is how we respond to these issues that effects our conditions.  Remember the two side of a coin.  People who just react have no vision.  They simply follow a patterned reaction.  They do not see the bigger picture.  Those that act consciously (fully aware of their actions) see the bigger picture and know they have choices in how they react to their trials and circumstances and these choices create their environment.

Remember, everything is relative.  The only absolute is God…or whatever term you use to address the Higher Being Energy.  And, make no mistake about it…there is a Higher Being…it can’t be any other way.  There is energy ahead of us and energy behind us. It’s evolution.

An issue that may seem totally bad/negative to you, if you could see the bigger picture…somewhere this same action is good/positive for someone or something else.   There are always two sides.  Be careful how you label things….because as you see it…it will be.  That is your choice….your freewill.

We are all One movement forward.  when you separate yourself out from the whole you are leaving the flow and fighting against life.  You’re trying to swim upstream.  “Go with the flow” my friends and you will know peace.  See the bigger picture and peace will be yours.  Take time to meditate and connect with source…and you will feel the peace I am speaking of.

It’s that place where nothing else abides.  That’s why it’s peaceful. 

There are two sides to every coin. We do have choices.  Live in peace or not….the choice is yours.

I found a wonderful site that is full of inspiring and motivational material.  And, the best part about it is there are four pages of free ebooks to help and inspire you.  Something for everyone…and, if you are reading this, no doubt there is something for you.
