Recently I joined Sally Neill’s new coaching course “Learn With Sally.” with a definite purpose in mind. I didn’t just jump in…I knew exactly what I was getting into. I have a goal in mind and I firm resolve to achieve it…and…

I know Sally’s course is my ticket to getting there (as long as I take productive action of course), because she has achieved what I desire to achieve, to become adept at creating a living from my own blog…so that I can show others how to do the same thing….the perfect path to follow….

It’s all about Freedom folks…and earning a living from blogging frees your mind, spirit, and physical self to be where ever your heart dictates.  Haven’t you always been told to follow your heart? And, isn’t that what life should really be about? If we can’t live authentically, then why bother?

Sally Neill has achieved with her blog what I want to do with my own blog and I’ll be documenting my personal progress as it plays out and I overcome fears that have finally met their match. Sally is a lovely lady…with a thick “Scottish accent” (no fair, cause that gives her an edge in videos….lol) who has achieved the dream that so many of us come online with…to make a living by blogging.

But, don’t let that sweet little “Scottish accent” fool you. Sally is tough. I knew that going in. But that is exactly what I need.

Two weeks ago on July 28th the intro webinar was held. I was not able to attend (much to my dismay) but I listened to the webinar’s replay and smiled as I heard one after another overcome the fear of speaking live on a webinar for the first time.  I knew that I must join that crowd of overcomers as soon as possible.

Sally taught us so many valuable blogging ideas using different plug-ins as well as educating us on what we needed to include in a blog post to make it interesting, fun and educational at the same time. Some of them seemingly small things that actually make a huge difference in blog retention with your readers and better yet…return visitors.

The timing could not have been better for me as I had recently run a contest to generate ideas for a blog makeover tagline and I was due to pick the winners and announce them.

I also grabbed an opportunity to speak at the end of the webinar, erase my fear of speaking and (I am hoping Sally turns her Q & A’s into Comments, Q & A’s) and catch up with the “cool crowd” from the week before. I don’t like to get behind

As I sat down that evening to write my blog post announcing winners of my Camtasia contest I realized I had the perfect opportunity to implement all the blogging ideas that Sally fed us in the webinar…and there were many!

Oh, and did I say vidoes? lol Most people don’t realize it but that contest blog post contained my first screen cast video ever! I have played a bit but never produced one. It has been on my list of “to do” things like forevvverrrrrr.

I created a video showing me selecting the random winner with a cool tool I found online. It would be long enough for me to get my feet wet without putting too much pressure on myself.

Doesn’t sound too bad either and I fully realize that I will only get better with practice. But here’s the thing…you guys heard the edited version…lol…only I heard the unedited version. I edited out may “ah’s” uneeded words and pauses so long it seemed like I had left for the day…. (Camtasia has a great editor)

Camtasia at first seems daunting…but I am here to tell you that with a little practice it is really fairly easy and lots of fun. This is truly a practice makes perfect type software.

Sally’s coaching has 13 modules with 2 of the modules being dedicated to video. I can’t wait. That is one thing Sally is a genius at and I am going to copy her…with my own twist of course

She won’t reveal what module 13 is about, says it’s a surprise…but from her excitement it’s going to be awesome. And, who doesn’t love surprises?

What a great way to create interest and resolve. Sally is a blogging genius and I am a genius for signing up to her course.

We were assigned some plug in’s to add to our blogs that help with eliminating spam comments… “the GASP plug in…and a plug in to help generate more interest after they leave a comment by sending them an email thanking them.

Yippeeeeeee…..

I just arrived home today from a visit with my grandkids (they are the lights of my life) and even though I am a bit tired from the drive…2 hours north, I am running on adrenaline because I get to announce the winners of my Camtasia Snag It contest.

I have to tell you that in my two years of blogging, this blog post idea might be the most fun I’ve had yet.

For any of you using Google Chrome as your browser, I recently discovered a new application that I find I use all the time so I thought I would share it.

Honestly, I am not sure if Firefox and other browsers offer a similar app…I haven’t found one…but I may have missed it and if there is one and someone is aware of it I would love a blog comment leading me to the app

I am certainly not familiar with all the apps out there but this one is so handy and makes keeping notes so freaking easy that I just have to share it.

The name of the Google Chrome app. is: “Note Anywhere”

And, just like the name implies, you can leave a note on any website you navigate to. So, how is that different that any other note application? The note will be there when you navigate back to the site!

This is invaluable to me. Normally once you’ve clicked out of the site you are on…the note is gone too. But not with “Note Anywhere.”

For example…I recently signed up for a trail run on Doba.com with recurring payments of $59 a month after the trail period is over. (I am interested in drop shipping (not so much for myself but my daughter is starting a site).

Many times when you sign up on these sites it is hard to locate the cancel button before they end up charging your credit card or Paypal for services.

So, the first thing I do now when I join one of these trial runs via subscription to a site is to log in and locate the cancel link/button info.

I place one of these “note anywhere” type notes on the page exactly where the “cancel” info is. That way when I check into the site (often times it’s last minute with me) the yellow note is staring me in the face reminding me that I need to cancel.

Here are some screen shots explaining what I mean:

This is the page I land on after signing in to Doba…

You can clearly see the “note anywhere” that I’ve left myself.  Every time I sign in here the note is there…front and center for me to see…and most importantly REMEMBER to cancel in time!

Now, taking it a step farther…here is another screen shot inside my Doba account where the actual cancel info is located. To keep from having to search everytime I landed here…or at the moment I need to cancel I placed another “note anywhere” so that I never have to search more than once for that cancel info and I can access it immediately after going into my account.

These type applications are priceless to me. I do however wish that this application actually worked to stay within Gmail. In other words, I placed a note on top of my Gmail screen reminding me about my Doba subscription and then clicked out. Unfortunately it does not come back up with your mail.

There is however a way to keep that note attached to gmail. Notes Anywhere automatically creates a list of your “notes” for you and you can easily access this list by clicking the “notes anywhere” icon located next to your browser window.

Click the icon and from the drop down menu click the “options” link. Once inside options click the “notes summary” and a list of all your placed notes will appear.

If you access your gmail account using your active “notes anywhere” link the note you placed will be on top of your mail where you left it. It is not visible if you use another way into your gmail.

Here are the features that “Note Anywhere” offers:

• On any page, you can make a note on the web page…on any position
• The notes get saved in real time
• All notes can move by mouse: drag and drop (love this!)
• When you go to the page again…the notes get loaded immediately
• On the logo it shows a badge indicating the note counts of that page
• The newer 0.5 version has options to change the style of notes
• A notes summary feature so you know where you’ve placed your notes!

Features that will be added soon:

• The ability to re-size notes
• A feature that allows you to import and export notes
• Sync notes between different computers
• ***share notes with others***

After adding the app, a little icon will appear on your screen right next to your browser bar.

Right click and you will see menu options. They have made it so easy to disable, uninstall or hide the button if you wish.  Then click the options button and check out the options.

As you can see, they have options for larger text (yeah) text color and background color so you can really taylor this so that it suits you.

I hope you enjoy using this application as much as I do. Now you will never have to wonder why you bookmarked a certain page! Your “note anywhere” will be there to tell you

Micro Jobs sites have certainly become the rage these days. I’ve even heard it referred to as a “revolution.”

So far, I’ve found 110 + sites that are presently active and ready for new members…either as sellers or buyers.

What you as the buyer need to remember is that each site…in order to be slightly different from the next has set up a different price structure.

One site may be $5 only like Fiverr or the services may vary in price starting at $2, $3 and going all the way up to $3,000.

Not a problem except for one thing…and, this one thing is important if you are a buyer of services.

What you must understand as a buyer is that these sellers, in order to get maximum exposure, list their services on as many sites as possible.

Their logic is simple…more sites…more people, more people…more sales. This is smart business and one you would be wise to follow if you are a seller.

But what does this mean to the buyer? It means that a service that you find listed on one site for $5 could easily be listed…exactly the same…on another site where services start at $8.

The vendor does not have the choice to list the service for $5 on certain sites, so to stay within the parameters of each sites price listings, they adjust their service ad to reflect the price for that given site.

For example, I found a listing on Uphype.com for an “elegant facebook business page template which cost hundreds of dollars” for $8.

Seems like a fair enough deal…right? But if you look a little further, you will find the same exact listing…from the same exact vendor for $5 on Gigbucks.com…clearly a nice $3 savings.

Do that a few times a week or month and it adds up.

Remember, it’s all about exposure for them. They really don’t care where the sale comes from…it all pads their Paypal account.

(This really isn’t some wicked scheme set up by these vendors to make extra money…they are simply playing the game by the rules.)

But for the buyer…it can hurt their Paypal account.

The only solution is to surf each site separately to find the best price.

But, who the heck has time to surf around on 110 + sites to try and save a few dollars? On the other hand, who can afford to blow money unnecessarily?

Time is money and wasting precious time surfing different sites can cost you money too.

Today I have a solution that is really going to help you.

I recently discovered a site called jobreapr.com that is a search engine for these Micro Job Sites. What that means is that you can go to jobreapr.com, type in your keyword in the search bar and let the search engine to the searching for you.

This search engine was created by the folks over at Agriya. So, it does have limitations. It will only pull results from sites that use the Agriya script…which is by far the most popular script, and have listed their site with them.

At the time of this blog post, there were 23 sites listed with them.

As you can see to your right, jobreapr also includes the amount of gigs each site has so far.

Don’t let this guide you too much as a newer site would probably not have as many listings as an older one…but it may be every bit as good…and possibly cheaper

This does leave out some of the Micro Sites that do not use this script…you’ll have to surf them separately.

But, if it were me, I would start with this search engine first…to save valuable time.

This gives the owners that use the Agriya script a clear advantage over others that don’t…they can be found by anyone using this search engine.

For those that would like to start one of these sites, but you’re stuck on where to go with the idea…

…let me give you a little piece of advice.

Think like an entrepreneur…don’t box in your ideas because it has not been done yet.

There are so many ways to use these new scripts to make money…infinite ideas. If you need a little inspiration,  watch for my new ereport outlining over 110 of these sites.

You can browse them and let your imagination go wild as it feeds on the ideas of others.

Making money just gets easier and easier and the best part about it is anyone who owns a computer can cash in on these new opportunities.

Alot of people use Google Mail…better known as GMail to send and receive email. But most people don’t take advantage of all the tools that Google Mail offers those who use this service.

I was just as guilty. For the most part, I wasn’t taking advantage of these extra tools…

…until one day when I needed one.

Like most of you, I send out numerous emails daily…usually without incidence.

One day after receiving an email that I wanted to send on to my business partner with my response to it…I thought I hit “forward” when I actually hit “reply.”

Yep…rather then sending my reponse to this email on to my business partner…because I hit “reply” it was sent back to the person who originally sent me the email.

Panic…I noticed it right away…come back…how do I get that email back?

As most of you realize, once you send an email out into cyberspace…it’s gone forever and there is no retrieving it. Whoever you sent it to is going to receive it whether you like it or not.

Lucky for me…with this incidence…everything I said in that email I accidentally sent back   had nothing in it that hurt me.

But, it could have been serious. What if I had said things in there that would have shocked this person I sent it back to, or even worse hurt them?

Lesson learned. I pause before every email I send out now to make sure I am sending to the right person and not to someone I don’t want to see the email.

So, out of need I went searching on Google right away to see if there was any way…using GMail that I could retrieve that email before it was read.

Unfortunately, for me…the window of opportunity had easily passed by the time I found the solution.

But, the great thing is…for those that use GMail…there is a solution. The solution will only let you have 30 seconds max to retrieve that mistaken email you just sent out…but most times you realize immediately that you have sent it to the wrong person and 30 seconds is more than enough time to pull it back.

I have a feeling that  a lot of people are not aware of this gmail function so I am going to show everyone where to go to set this important feature up and working.

Below is a screen shot of the very top of my GMail account. As you see to the far right as you are looking at it is a little icon that looks a lot like a flower wheel…just follow the red arrow to the icon.

This is your options/tools for using GMail and if you haven’t already explored some of these then you are missing some excellent aides/tools that you can use online.

Click on the “flower” icon that the red arrow is pointing to and click “mail settings” in the menu that comes down…it will pull up a page of GMail options for you to use.

Once you’ve landed on the options page scroll down 7 boxes until you come to the one that says “Undo Send.” As you can see it offers you a choice of how many seconds you have to retrieve that missed sent email…you can choose 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds.

Make sure that the box is checked and pick which time option you want (I don’t know why anyone would choose anything but 30 seconds)…just like the pic above and don’t forget to click “save changes” button at the bottom of the page before you leave the page to save your new settings.

Now…let’s test. Go back to GMail and click on “compose” so that you can test this out.

Compose an email to yourself at another address or someone you trust (just in case

Hit the “send” button at the top of your email and this message “Undo” “View message” will appear right  next to where it says “Your message has been sent” at the top of your GMail page:

Quickly click the “undo” button to pull that mis-sent email back to safety.

Remember you only have the max of 30 seconds to do this…and less if you have not set the timer to 30 seconds as shown above.

The great thing about this tool is that it works even if you send your email to another email client like AOL. I tried it and it worked perfectly…the email was never sent. So, not only does it work for GMail friends and clients…but it works for anyone you send to from GMail.

Now that you’ve found the GMail options/tools page you can play with some of the other options that are available. If you’re going to be out of town and can’t get to your email for a few days there is even a vacation option that you can check and it will send a message to those who try and reach you during this time.

I am going to continue to explore these options and I’ll fill you in on any that I think are just plain fun or I think could really help you online. I’ve already found another option that I am using on a regular basis that I think you’ll love.

Today I am going to set aside all those bargain basement outsourcing sites to write a post about a new site that I recently joined called Internet Marketing Apprentice.

I love proactive people so I’ve decided to give these two passionate entrepreneurs their proper due by writing a blog post outlining some of the advantages of using these two new sites that were brought to my attention.

First up: Fourerr The $4 Online Marketplace

As the name implies (an you have most likely figured out on your own) this site charges $4.00 for each service performed instead of the $5 fee that Fiverr charges.

Alex Bain the CEO of Fourerr claims they have the same providers (I did not check against the providers on Fiverr but I would not be surprised if many are the same)….but you are charged 20% less at $4 rather than $5 a task.

I am all about saving money when possible so I think this site is definitely worth checking out. Fiverr remains the most popular…it was the first of its kind…but competition is good.

Fourerr is a newer site than some but their traffic is ranked #2 according to compete.com

One more site was brought to my attention and this one has really caught my eye because they are focused on Internet marketers.

Jason from Gigs For Gurus contacted me to let me to inform me of this site that is a bit different than most of these cloned Fiverr sites. If you’ve been to any of these “bargain basement sites” you will have noticed that you can get all types of services on these sites including weird and bizarre stuff.

Now, I see nothing wrong with weird and bizarre but I really like the fact that someone focused on Internet marketing and left the bizarre to the other sites. This site was set up as the Internet Marketing Marketplace…for people to buy/sell their IM products/services at their own price.

As you can see from the screen shot below, they even feature : “Warrior Special Offers” (for those not familiar, these are offers from marketers who frequent the Warrior Forum)

There are not a lot of vendor choices within each category yet. But, as more and more people discover the power and ease of using these sites the choices will grow.

I truly hope this site takes off because I appreciate the fact that you do not have to wade through a bunch of silly stuff in order to get some serious stuff done.

I have no doubt that you will see clones of this clone showing up

Marketing online is a huge niche with more comers every day. I wish these sites had been around a few years ago…it sure would have made those techie jobs that I struggled with a whole lost easier and saved me a ton of stress!

It gets easier everyday to open up shop online in the way of a blog or ecommerce site and these sites make it very easy for anyone to succeed…even through those techie bumps that have sidelined and discouraged others in the past.

If you come online with desire and passion there really is nothing keeping you from succeeding. No more techie excuses or writing excuses…or any excuses. Getting help online is easier and quicker than ever with more choices showing up every day.

I initially thought that I had not received my refund but it was there in Paypal in “all transactions.”

So, I congratulate Aymeric for returning all the money that would have been earned on something that wasn’t legal. There is proof that he is honest and upfront so I don’t think you will have any problems with TaskArmy.
