I received confirmation from Google Adsense that everything is in order and that I can proceed to set up my Adsense account.  Tonight I’ll finish that chore and hopefully by tomorrow morning I’ll see some Google ads on my site.  Wow!

Now, I’d like to share with you a bit of insight as to what drove me to sign up for this course.  Have you ever felt like a hamster on a wheel?  You know….working harder and harder at the job you are presently in but not getting anywhere?  Just spinning that wheel but staying in the same place no matter how much effort you put into your job?  That’s my story.  For years now, I have been at the top of my game in my job and yet, I have not moved up the ladder of success one rung.  And, although I’ve worked harder the last two years than all previous years, I didn’t even get a raise.  It’s called Corporate America and it can and will eat you alive if you allow it.  You do all the work, you’re the pion slave for the success of those above you…they push you hard in order to receive their bonus.  That would be all fine and dandy if they were willing to share their bonus with those below them…you know, the workhorses…the very people who made their bonus possible.  But, sadly, in most cases that’s not true.  You’ve done all the work…and, they reap the benefits.  Exactly my story.

That’s precisely why I am here.  I am ready to be my own boss.  But, not in a brick and mortar environment.  That’s way too confining.  I want freedom.  I know of no other job that allows the kind of freedom that Internet Marketing does.  Sure, it can be alot of work…especially in the beginning, but who reaps the rewards of all this effort?  You do.  My successes online will be exactly in line with the effort I put in and that my friends is exactly what I am after. One thing I am not afraid of is hard work.  I’ve been a hard worker all my life, but always for the benefit of someone else (the famous words of my dad are ringing in my ears as I write this “always give 110%.”)  The days of working hard to make someone else a success are soon to be in the past.  My goal is to study hard, work hard, reap the benefits of my own effort and say farewell (good riddence ) to Corporate America forever.

One last thing…being a student of Metaphysics (that’s my other passion) I believe everything happens for a reason.  If Corporate America didn’t do anything else, it was the major catalyst in my search for success elsewhere.  Which, ultimately led me here.  So, I guess…ironically, I actually owe them a debt of gratitude.  But, that’s all they’ll get from me….;)

To your success….and mine,

Kathy
