Jeff Mills and Outsourcing to The Philippines
I’ve been away on a mini vacation that my daughter took me on for nearly a week (thank you very much Shannon!) and catching up with everything online has taken a lot of time! There are emails to filter through and answer….(I have numerous email accounts…as I am sure a lot of you reading this do), videos to watch and learn from and coaching courses with lessons to complete…plus websites and blogs to look after!
Before I left on this mini vacation I was really feeling the effects of trying to do all the Internet marketing tasks that my business required of me. I was feeling exhausted and overwhelmed because I simply could not keep up….even though I was spending hours at the computer daily. “This isn’t the kind of freedom I am after” I thought to myself one day. I got into this business to escape corporate America, its rules and regulations. I was after freedom….personal and financial freedom. The kind that I knew you could obtain by having a very successful Internet marketing business.
But I was feeling anything but free.
I realized I was going about it the wrong way…so, I promptly turned my dilemma over to the wisdom of the Universe and received a “loud and clear” message the next morning. As I was cleaning off many days worth of emails one stopped me short…the word outsourcing was in the title. Outsourcing! That’s it I thought. Of course I had heard about outsourcing many times before but there was something about this email that made me follow through and I am glad I did. Now, I am not talking outsourcing a few tasks to a one time hire….
You see, this email led me to watch a video produced by Jeff Mills on outsourcing to the Philippines. Now, I had a few Filipino friends at the corporate job I used to work so I knew a bit about the honesty and quality of the people and the Islands. But, I had no idea about the money exchange and how profitable it could be to outsource by hiring a full or part time employee from the Philippines.
Come to find out, you can hire a full time 40 hour a week college educated Filipino person for between $250 to $400 a month and $75 to $200 for a part time 20 hour a week person. That’s amazing! These people can buy a home, feed a family and buy a car for this full time wage. And, they are happy to receive it.
This is exactly what I was asking for. As an entrepreneur one must be “on their business, not in their business.” An entrepreneur represents FREEDOM. An entrepreneur should be the epitome of freedom just by virtue of the fact that they call themselves an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur must know how to delegate tasks and let go of total control if they are to experience the kind of growth and success that I plan on experiencing.
Of course like anything else, you must do your homework before you hire. That is the process I have begun. I joined Jeff Mills site (he offers a free one month trial) when you order his CD on outsourcing. I intend to stay with it until I’ve learned everything I can about this fantastic idea and become comfortable with it.
I am hoping you’ll return as I continue to document and post about my progress and what I am learning in Jeff’s site. For those of you with a curious enough mind that want to listen to Jeff’s fabulous CD now as well as take in that free month on his outsourcing site…he makes it very easy to opt out. He used to be a youth minister…he’s not here to steal your money, he’s here to earn your money and trust by giving you a great education and mentoring you to success.
Here is a link that you can follow to get immediate satisfaction.
Jeff Mills Free Outsourcing CD
An entrepreneur by definition is free spirited. My entrepreneur spirit blossomed over a year ago and I’ve never looked back. The Internet is the perfect place for an entrepreneur to develop their business or business’. The Internet has opened doors that have never existed before and that includes outsourcing Internet marketing tasks to the Philippines.
Internet marketing can be your ticket to financial and personal freedom. But, if you don’t learn to outsource some or all of the tasks required it may be a long, long time…if ever…that you will experience true freedom. You may start to experience success but will soon be overwhelmed by exhaustion and defeat.
This is not the purpose of an entrepreneur. The purpose of the entrepreneur is to have a vision and to pass this vision…plans included and all details…. onto a Project Manager who then orchestrates, organizes and delegates the tasks to the appropriately gifted individual. It is then up to the Project Manager to follow through and make sure the job gets done.
Being tied to a computer all day is not my idea of fun or freedom….
Teaching others how to accomplish what it is that you need done and then stepping away and knowing that it will be accomplished is the kind of freedom I am after.
This is going to be an interesting, objective trip into this subject…
Stay tuned…in the next installment, I am going to give you the web addresses for two hiring sites that were set up specifically for the task of pairing Filipino employees with employers from around the world like the US, Canada, Australia and more.
It’s a good thing
Here’s to FREEDOM…yours and mine,

Wow, Kathy, great post, thanks for this. I know what you mean about it being time consuming keeping up with everything but I guess it’s what helps us to tie down what we really want initially, then we can be clear about what to outsource.
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy the journey.

Hi Kathy,
You know i too have been trying to solve this problem about leveraging time to build my business more, and i have also come to light before about the phillipines, i know of another top IM that uses them called Paul Ponna!
Paul always says the quality of service he gets from his phillipines workers is that good he would never use Elance, com what does that tell you?
Look forward to your progress, good luck Kathy….Ed.
Hi Ed…
This business requires a tremendous amount of learning and application…without the leverage of outsourcing I don’t think I would ever get it all done! Outsourcing to the Philippines has gotten my attention and I will be studying it thoroughly!
Thanks for stopping by
Kathy
Hi Mandy,
It’s great to see you back in action! I am determined to learn as much about outsourcing to the Philippines as my brain will hold. I know this is exactly the leverage I needed to make a go of this IM stuff!
Kathy
Hi Kathy
I’m all for outsourcing as well, especially the parts of IM I don’t enjoy, like article writing and link building, oh two of the more important ones…oops.
I wasn’t sure how I felt about using overseas labour, as it felt a little bit like I would be taking advantage of them due to the wage levels here in the UK.
But having read your post, I feel better about doing it, I guess these things are relative…and if things go well it’s always possible to pay a bonus!
I’m looking forward to hearing more and seeing the two sites you mentioned.
Speak soon
cheers
Steve
Hi Steve…well, you are right on about the bonuses…they are an important part of the whole equation. And, helping a family feed, clothe and educate their children can’t be a bad thing. Understand that most of these people would be out of work…if it weren’t for the overseas help they are getting. It’s good for them….and its good for us
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Kathy
I have been following Jeff Mills too, he seems to have a really ethical setup over in the Philippines. I will be following your progress with interest. I hope that you enjoy your summer, relaxing in the sun with your feet up, whilst the rest of us are labouring under a mountain of emails etc.
Good luck!
Best, Theresa
Hi Theresa…I agree…both he and John Jonas seem to be very ethical in their business’.
Presently I am totally captivated with the topic of outsourcing…specifically to the Philippines, so you’ll see lots more info coming up.
Kathy
Well, if I could get someone…soon with outsourcing…to go through all those emails maybe I could relax in the sun…
Soon…very soon
Kathy
