Kathy,

You covered this subject well.

I can vouch for everything you are saying. I started out building my list using giveaways. In fact, 90% of my list is through giveaways.

Believe me when I say that participating in giveaways is probably the best way to build. I started out like everyone else, with myself subscribed to my own list. As of today, I have broken the 5,000 mark, and done most of that within the past 6 months.

Dawn Kay is correct too, it does help greatly if you have your own unique gift to submit. Find a plr product and rework it a bit, just like John T teaches and you'll find yourself growing your own list by leaps and bounds.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Kathy, I have also read your post on the Masterclass forum. It's an interesting point you make that even with hardly any list I can take part in a giveaway.

I look forward to your next post on the subject.

Best Wishes, Ray.

Hi John,
I think the beauty of this idea is that you no longer have to have a long list to participate. But, you must promote the event. As long as you're getting a few URL clicks there shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for stopping by!

Very useful Kathy,
I will consider this method when I have a list. The problem for me is my list is only 100 people, so it's a 'Chicken and Egg' situation. I can't start list building because my list isn't big enough! :-(
Keep up the good work.

Hi Jacinta...
Thanks for coming by and commenting. Yes, I believe Giveaway events are an awesome tool to capture "leads"....
and, an important element to get started with your list when you're a newbie. ;)
