Mass Outsource MasterMind

I am now enrolled in Tyrone’s Shum’s Mass Outsource MasterMind.  Although the official launch has not yet arrived, Tyrone allowed me early entrance and I’ve been poking around inside a bit.

Lots of good instructional videos as well as a “business in a box”  called “The Money Attractor” (oh…I really like that name)…which is an automated course that you can offer to your outsourcer or use yourself to get you rolling. This business is a “rinse and repeat” type business that you can train your outsourcer to set up and repeat the process over and over. Tyrone’s purpose with this is to get some money  generated so that you can cover the cost of the course…and then some.

There is a forum inside that you can post any questions or concerns on. The forum was relatively quiet at the present time because the new class has not yet started and I would imagine the old class is off and running…hiring outsourcers ;) I am anxious to see it take on life after Tyrone closes the doors to his MasterMind. It is highly monitored, I could tell that from the posts that are there already and when they received responses. So, I am happy to see that.

Here’s a sneak peek at the menu inside the MasterMind ;) As you can see, the value is definitely there!

I think the hardest part of outsourcing…outside of the hiring process is what and how to start your outsourcer. What do you do first? I think a lot of us were making this process a lot  more difficult than it has to be. So, here’s some wise words from the Master Outsourcer himself.

Tyrone suggests we should be teaching our chosen outsourcers one thing at a time.” Let’s face it, the online IM world can be overwhelming to us in the amount of tasks one needs to complete in order to be successful…can you imagine if we tried to lay a bunch of those tasks all at once onto our new “outsourced” hiree?? Most likely you would scare them off.

Taking time to properly train your outsourcer in the beginning is of utmost importance if you want to get your outsourcer off on the right tract without scaring them off. The more time you are prepared to spend training them as well as the resources you invest in to train them, the sharper they become…which in the end translates to major success for you.

Although there is not an exact science as to how this should be done, following along behind someone who has achieved a great deal of success using these techniques is probably a real smart idea.  It could/should shorten your learning curve tremendously.

Here is what Tyrone suggests you do when you first start training:

Start slow:

Teach them one task at a time. For instance, Tyrone starts by teaching article marketing. After properly training them through videos and other resources,  he will ask his new VA to write 1-2 articles per day and submit them to article directories. Keep them on this task for a few weeks so they can get a real feel for what to do. Like anything else, with continuous repetition, they will become really good and efficient at the task. This also boosts their self esteem because they see their own accomplishments which gives them steam to roll into the next task.

Next, add a second task onto their daily routine by asking them to learn something new such as social bookmarking or forum posting. Keep in mind, that Tyrone always trains them to do this correctly first…and then helps them to build up their knowledge. We would be wise to follow those steps.

Here’s one of Tyrone’s examples:

“An example of what I did with one of virtual staff was I
initially gave her the task of writing a 6 part series of emails.
Each email had to be a minimum of 500 words. After reviewing and
critiquing on her work, she made some improvements and we moved
onto creating an ebook. I have to say, she’s a fantastic writer.

From there, after writing, reviewing and improving the ebook, I
asked her to write the landing page and sales page for the
website.

As you can see, I build on each task and help her improve her skills
which in turn helps our business create better products and
get the work done.”

Outsourcing can seem a daunting task in the beginning. First you have to find the right outsourcer or VA…that can be time consuming but well worth the time you invest. Like any brick and mortar business, once you have found candidates you are interested in…you must:

  • interview them
  • train them
  • promote them (as they earn it)

We would be wise to follow in our mentors steps in regards to training our VA’s on one task at a time until they are proficient and then adding tasks that will build on their present knowledge and take you towards your own goals.

With a little patience and tenacity you will soon find that you have automated all of your tasks/work and you are now free to live the “life you have imagined” or as Tyrone says: “Eventually all your work will be automated and you will be cruising around the Caribbean!.”

Sounds like my kind of lifestyle! ;) For those interested in more information on Tyrone’s upcoming Mass Outsource MasterMind…or maybe you just want to explore deeper into the realm of outsourcing…here’s a link to his videos where you can learn a lot more about this exciting subject!

Right on Mandy :) I do think his outsourcers helped to put it all together…maybe the whole thing. But, Tyrone is involved too, and he does do his own videos ;)

  4. Hi Kathy

This is definitely something on my ‘need to learn’ list. I’ll be very interested to see how you find this once you’re into it a little further.

I was amazed how little the Phillipinos earn, and it certainly seems a great place to find people with a good work ethic – who speak English!

Hi Anthony…The fact that the people in the Philippines speak English…for the most part….and have a great work ethic is certainly part of the appeal.
Stay tuned for more on this exciting subject as I plan documenting my course ;)

  5. Hi Kathy,

One step at a time, one foot in front of the other reminds me of the The Turtle and the Hare story, which brings comfort when approaching a new model that I know nothing about. I am excited to start Tyrone’s course to start taking those steps. So very intriguing…! Fortuitous to have a master teacher who can have our back through the process.

Great new look of your blog, keep on keepin’ on pardner!

  7. Hello Kathy,

Outsourcing! Hmm… Maybe I could get a lot more done if I outsourced many of my own projects..

What a great idea, and I already knew I needed to do it.

How do you gain their trust enough to just let them do it?

I find it almost nerve racking to let my projects be done by someone else.

    Thanks,

    Leslie

    Hi Leslie,
I think that is the hardest part for all of us…letting go and allowing others to do the work for us. We’re all control freaks..but if we want to grow our business we will eventually have to trust others…and leverage their time and talents.

  9. You’ve got commission :) (if massoutso is your affiliate id that is – I resisted the urge to remove it and use my own ;) )

I’m still looking around the members area and deciding if it’s for me.

    All the best.
