Outsource Your Way to Success
If you’re like me…somewhat of a control freak, you want to control all aspects of your business operation. While overseeing everything is a must and something that does require your attention, trying to accomplish all the tasks associated with your business by yourself is not a wise decision.
You must learn to let go of those tasks that are not particularly appealing to you and concentrate on the aspects of your business that you enjoy the most…areas that you have strengths in. Not only will this help to retain your enthusiasm, but it will keep you from getting burned out and frustrated trying to accomplish everything yourself.
Believe it or not, those who try and do every single chore connected with their business are actually impeding the growth of their business. We do have limits as to what we alone can accomplish in one given day but creating a lucrative Internet business without working so hard is possible with outsourcing.
Basically, outsourcing is contracting out your business tasks to someone else for completion. This in turn will give you more time to devote to other areas of your business, preferably areas that are more enjoyable to you, areas that you are passionate about.
Before we continue on about outsourcing, I’d like to clear up a few misconceptions that are prevalent about this subject. I am not talking about outsourcing to people in other countries that work for pennies, providing below standard performances. There are real legitimate ways to outsource work to individuals and professionals in their respective fields and receive high quality, above par results.
If you’ve ever owned your own business or managed a business you know how important it is to delegate tasks to others in order to succeed. The same principle applies on the Internet. You must learn to delegate tasks, preferable those that are not your favorites. You must learn to outsource.
There are many benefits to outsourcing not the least of which is saving time and money. There are only 24 hours in a day, but, by outsourcing and enlisting the help of others, you have added hours to your day…you have gained valuable time. You can put that new found time to work in areas that you enjoy…using your own valuable strengths to pump up your business.
Just think of all the time you’ll save by not spending hours trying to learn something that is a struggle for you and that you may only use once or twice in your business. Outsource it to someone who knows how to do it..and enjoys it.
You may wonder how you can save money outsourcing when you’re paying someone to do the work for you. It all has to do with how you value your time. Let’s say you give your time a value of $50 and hour, and you have a task that will take you at least two hours to complete. That will cost you $100 in your valuable time. On the other hand, if you hire someone for $20 an hour and they can complete this task in half the time it would take you…let’s say one hour, you’ve only spent $20. The savings is obvious. Don’t ever under evaluate what your time is worth.
Additionally, there will be times you’ll save money on software you would otherwise have to buy to accomplish the task at hand.
I am all about making things easy…no matter what business you might be in, and outsourcing is the way to make your Internet business pleasurable and successful without feeling overwhelmed.
With the explosion of Internet business’, there is no shortage of outsourcing resources for you to tap into. I’ve listed a few below for you to investigate:
Next, we’ll discuss many of the different tasks that can be outsourced with your Internet business.
Till next time…
enJOY,
Kathy

Hi Kathy, excellent advice my friend.
When I first started i tried to do it all myself and thought i was doing ok, until i bought a ready made website. Not only did it put the one i built to shame, but it cost far less money than my time equaled. Boy oh boy was i kicking myself.
Now if i struggle with ANYTHING i outsource it and crack on with what i can do to a satisfactory standard. It save time which converts to money.
I’ve had my latest product approved by clickbank. It’s called Ease The Squeeze With Auctions, and is about showing people how to use eBay to find out what is selling in large amounts, how and where to find those products, then how and when to list them for sale on ebay. With a step by step guide, resources, worksheets and a checklist. Pop over and see what you think: http://easethesqueezewithauctions.com/

Hi Kathy,
I totally agree with Barry! A while back I thought outsourcing was for nillies! Now I am a firm believer that outsourcing is the way to go IF you have high quality resources to turn to!
Thank you for a great article

Hi Kathy,
Great post. I have been on both sides. I was an article writer and it was great extra cash, and I must say pretty high quality
But when it came to my own stuff I would outsource it and pay for it with the extra cash I made as an article writer. Makes no sense does it now that I admit it! However, I always think to myself “how much time is this going to take me vs paying someone who can either do it for me?” If it does take me 2 or more hours and its something I can get done for a reasonable price I tend to outsource.
Thanks for posting the resources, and I’ve added you as a Cool Friend on my blog

Brilliant post, Kathy. I have read of people who make their money by offering services then outsourcing them to cheaper labour and pockting the difference.
Enjoy the journey.
