I have been on both sides. I was an article writer and it was great extra cash, and I must say pretty high quality :) But when it came to my own stuff I would outsource it and pay for it with the extra cash I made as an article writer. Makes no sense does it now that I admit it! However, I always think to myself "how much time is this going to take me vs paying someone who can either do it for me?" If it does take me 2 or more hours and its something I can get done for a reasonable price I tend to outsource.
