Now that I’ve shared the motivating factors that brought me to this course, I’d like to share with you what I want to achieve from the whole process. First and foremost, I need to make a living. There are bills to pay, mouths to feed etc., and since I am the only one paying bills in my household at present, bringing in an income is a priority. After all, I cannot be of use to anyone if I am buried in debt. One must love themselves first before they can give love to anyone else. But, it goes beyond that.
Enter Universal Law and Principles. Once I have myself up and running and making a living off the internet, my desire is to help others succeed and release them from being the slave pions I spoke about in my previous post. I see it everyday…I am surrounded by it at work. People working hard for someone else and being paid a pittence of what their worth is. It breaks my heart. If only they knew what I know….I think to myself.
To give generously a monetary sum to help someone out is commendable, but to give someone the tools to achieve success in their own right, is a much more nobler deed. One that will carry them into the future. Of course there are certain traits that only they can supply. Without them success will not come. Motivation, desire and hard work will be their responsibility. These are traits of the heart.
“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, TEACH a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.” Lao Tzu
Now, go enJOY your day, think LOFTY THOUGHTS and KNOW that I care about you.
I received confirmation from Google Adsense that everything is in order and that I can proceed to set up my Adsense account. Tonight I’ll finish that chore and hopefully by tomorrow morning I’ll see some Google ads on my site. Wow!
Now, I’d like to share with you a bit of insight as to what drove me to sign up for this course. Have you ever felt like a hamster on a wheel? You know….working harder and harder at the job you are presently in but not getting anywhere? Just spinning that wheel but staying in the same place no matter how much effort you put into your job? That’s my story. For years now, I have been at the top of my game in my job and yet, I have not moved up the ladder of success one rung. And, although I’ve worked harder the last two years than all previous years, I didn’t even get a raise. It’s called Corporate America and it can and will eat you alive if you allow it. You do all the work, you’re the pion slave for the success of those above you…they push you hard in order to receive their bonus. That would be all fine and dandy if they were willing to share their bonus with those below them…you know, the workhorses…the very people who made their bonus possible. But, sadly, in most cases that’s not true. You’ve done all the work…and, they reap the benefits. Exactly my story.
That’s precisely why I am here. I am ready to be my own boss. But, not in a brick and mortar environment. That’s way too confining. I want freedom. I know of no other job that allows the kind of freedom that Internet Marketing does. Sure, it can be alot of work…especially in the beginning, but who reaps the rewards of all this effort? You do. My successes online will be exactly in line with the effort I put in and that my friends is exactly what I am after. One thing I am not afraid of is hard work. I’ve been a hard worker all my life, but always for the benefit of someone else (the famous words of my dad are ringing in my ears as I write this “always give 110%.”) The days of working hard to make someone else a success are soon to be in the past. My goal is to study hard, work hard, reap the benefits of my own effort and say farewell (good riddence ) to Corporate America forever.
One last thing…being a student of Metaphysics (that’s my other passion) I believe everything happens for a reason. If Corporate America didn’t do anything else, it was the major catalyst in my search for success elsewhere. Which, ultimately led me here. So, I guess…ironically, I actually owe them a debt of gratitude. But, that’s all they’ll get from me….;)
I am a day late getting to my MasterClass lesson this week. Spent the last few days with my two grandsons, daughter and son-in-law up in Tampa. Nothing gives me more pleasure than playing with those two little guys. They truly are the light of my life and one of the biggest catalysts to my becoming a success in internet marketing. I want freedom to see them whenever I desire and becoming a successful internet marketer will give me that freedom.
Signed up with Google Adsense as instructed in lesson three and now I am waiting for confirmation that my application will be accepted, then I will proceed on with the last few steps of the lesson. Kinda exciting to think that I could actually be making money from this blog in a short period of time.
Today was the first day I found myself on Google. Been there almost daily checking the status and to finally see my blog listed was a real rush! This is the start of big things I can feel it. And, I am so happy that I took that first step…that all important action step…of signing up for this class. That was my sign to the Universe that I was ready to BE the success that I had been reading about for nearly two years. That’s the key. You can read and study till forever, but taking action is what sets those desires in motion and brings them to life. Without action you only have daydreams.
I am so grateful to John Thornhill for creating this class and….
I am so grateful to be sharing all of this with you.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be a major expense. Afterall, Valentine’s Day is about Love. The affection that two people feel for one another. Like all our other holidays commercialism has taken over and we feel pressured to give expensive gifts. Instead, how about giving your time and attention? Do something special for your loved one. A romantic dinner at home, made by you (throw in the candles and turn off the lights) is the perfect setting. Don’t forget the mood music. You can buy flowers, a nice card (they come in all price ranges now a days) or maybe some decadent dessert to indulge in. Better yet, write a love poem to your partner. It might be easier than you think. There are so many sources on the internet to help you compose it. I know that would melt my heart more than any commercial product could ever do.
After dinner, the two of you can snuggle on the couch (or maybe in bed) and watch a classic Romantic movie together. Now truthfully, when was the last time you did that? It just might ignite some heat. Here’s a Valentine’s Day movie guide with something for everyone.
If you don’t have a significant other to share this special day with share something with your children, parents, special friends and last but not least, lets not forget about our precious pets. After all, isn’t it the pets that continually teach us about unconditional love. Take them on a special walk today…give them some special treats.
If you have the time, visit a home for the elderly and give your LOVE freely. Sit and read a story to someone…hold their hand and make them feel special…make them feel loved. There are so many lonesome senior citizens with no one left in their lives. I promise the return of Love you feel will be powerful.
It is our day to celebrate LOVE…in all it’s manifestations.
Whatever you do today, make LOVE the driving force behind everything you do and I promise you will feel LOVE in return.
Loving yourself first is the key to loving others. Be kind and forgiving of yourself today.
We live in a very ordered Universe. Not a chaotic, scrambled one, but one based on laws and principles. I read something this morning that struck a cord with me. Right away I thought of it’s application with respect to internet marketing. Here’s the quote that gave me moment to pause:
“Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, “What’s in it for me?” Brian Tracy
Now, I know there are a few unscrupulous marketers out there just trying to get your money…and, they will succeed for a short time. But, it will eventually catch up with them. It has to. You see it is Universal Law….Spiritual Principle, that whatever we send out (whether it be thought or action) will eventually find it’s way back to us…and, if we sent out some undesirable actions, then what we receive back will reflect that….and, it might not be pretty.
As you approach all your campaigns, lead with the heart. Approach with the intent of helping others succeed and that’s exactly what you earn back….SUCCESS. “What goes around comes around” folks. It’s law.
John Thornhill is one prime example of someone who desires to see people succeed, sets out to help them succeed and by living spiritual principles is a great success himself.
It is the way I plan on conducting my campaigns and my business.
