Very useful Kathy – thanks. I have downloaded the software, and liked the fact that I didn’t have to give an email address. So this is completely free without being submitted to any marketing campaigns – great!

Hi Kathy… just an update on StarDock. While I managed to use it to clear off my desktop, apparently when you save more icons, they don’t go into the fences automatically. So now, I have the fences filled up and “un-fenced” icons all over the rest of the desktop! LOL This utility allows you to hold even MORE icons

I guess every program has its limitations and this one is no different. My desktop is getting cluttered again too so I must take the time to sort them into my existing fences!

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for pointing this out. I have two monitors and the icons have now formed 2 – 3 columns on the 2nd screen. My thought is that I still have room for more icon on my desktop But when people see it, they call it “the jungle”, so I really need to do something about it. I’m trying this out immediately.

Gotta give you a big thanks for this help desk organizer. Its been a while since I have seen the back of my monitor, I will have to use this to clean up.

Only problem is you get so used to where things are and when you try and find it after the clean up its hard LOL

I had to laugh when you mentioned how hard they are to find initially…;) that very thing happened to me today) We are creatures of habit for sure but the good thing is it doesn’t take long to change that habit up and it will be easier in the end…just a matter of retraining ourselves.
